CertaintyPoint announced that it has started testing software designed to let users manage a surveillance system from a local computer or a remote device. CertaintySoft allows users to control up to  16 cameras over the Internet from a command consul that is easily customizable to  individual preferences and works with all major browsers, the company said.

CertaintySoft combines the quality and functionality of a professional system with a new easy to use Office 2007 style interface. It will be bundled with CertaintyCam starter kits.

“We are excited to begin testing CertaintySoft.
